Anticipating Change: The Church Leadership Survey
Canadian Baptist Pilot Project

A Futuring Hub of Theo-Futures Research Initiative
We are inviting you to participate in a national research study titled Anticipating Change: A Futures-Oriented Study of Christian Leadership in Canada, led by Dr. Joel Murphy through the Futuring Hub at Acadia Divinity College.

This study seeks to better understand how Christian leaders across Canada are experiencing and responding to significant shifts in ministry, including changes related to participation, leadership, culture, technology, and community life. Your perspective is important in helping us build a clearer picture of current realities and emerging possibilities for the Canadian church.

What participation involves:

  • Completing a survey (approximately 20–30 minutes)
  • Reflecting on your ministry context, experiences of change, and perspectives on the future

Participation is entirely voluntary and anonymous. No identifying information will be connected to your responses, and all findings will be reported in aggregate form only.

There are 37 questions in this survey.
This survey is anonymous.

The record of your survey responses does not contain any identifying information about you, unless a specific survey question explicitly asked for it.

If you used an identifying access code to access this survey, please rest assured that this code will not be stored together with your responses. It is managed in a separate database and will only be updated to indicate whether you did (or did not) complete this survey. There is no way of matching identification access codes with survey responses.
